Carbon brush with safety cut-out function
If a carbon brush runs out, a pre-tensioned spring breaks an insulating pin through the thinned carbon wall and lifts the carbon brush off the collector. The blower comes to a defined standstill without arc damage and only restarts when the carbon brush has been replaced.

Suitable for:
- Centrifugal fan 1.8 kW (item no. 4813)
- Centrifugal fan 1.45kW (item no. 3848)

Alternative/notes:
We recommend replacing both carbon brushes in the same step.
A carbon brush with safety cut-out function and a normal carbon brush (without safety cut-out function) are used for this purpose.
